Instructions for using A Ret Gel:
A Ret Gel should be used regularly for effective treatment. Wash your face and hands before applying the tretinoin gel. A thin layer of generic tretinoin gel is applied with the fingertips and massages it gently to the affected area where acne has appeared on the skin. Leave it to get air dry for 20 to 30 minutes. Wash your hands after applying the A Ret Gel. Avoid applying the gel near the eyes, mouth or on the injury and wounds as it can cause the irritation.
Contraindications of A Ret Gel:
A Ret gel is contraindicated in those patients who are allergic or hypersensitive to the tretinoin or other ingredients of the gel.
Interactions of A Ret Gel:
Most commonly seen side effects of A Ret Gel are skin irritation and inflammation. Other drugs that can show interactions are diuretics like thiazide; Doxycycline (tetracycline); antibiotics like ofloxacin or ciprofloxacin; sulfa drugs like Bactrim, Cotrim and others are methotrexate, fluphenazine, promethazine and perphenazine. Avoid using any skin products that contain benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, resorcinol or salicylic acid because it can show interaction with tretinoin.
Storage condition for A-Ret Gel:
Store the tretinoin gel at room temperature (15-20 0C). Store the drug away from sunlight. Keep the drug away from the reach of children and the pets. Protect the drug from excessive heat, light and moisture. Do not allow freezing of gel.

A Ret Gel is a formulation which is used topically once in a day. A Ret Gel is used recommended to use at night.
Use the cream regularly and timely for effective result. If you have missed a dose then apply it as soon as you get remembered. If it is getting the time for the next dose then omit it and proceed with your regular doses.
Although tretinoin cream on topical administration does not cause any overdosing but if you have doubts that you have used an excess amount you can consult your doctor.
Some mild side effects of using A Ret Gel are peeling effects, redness, itching or harsh feelings at the site of application, dry skin and skin sensitivity increased towards sunlight. Some serious side effects are formation of the crust or scaling of the skin where the drug is applied, inflammations and hives, blisters, rashes, pain in the chest, etc.
Some precautions that should be taken while using A Ret Gel (TRETINOIN) are-
- If you are allergic to the tretinoin then take proper precautions.
- Do not apply any cosmetic products that contain benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, resorcinol or salicylic acid simultaneously with A Ret gel.
- Avoid getting exposure to the sun as it may increase the sensitivity of the skin. Use sunscreen lotion or do proper covering of the face and hands if it is necessary to go out in the sunlight.
- Do not use this gel during pregnancy as it may get absorbed through the skin and cause harm to the foetus.
