Instructions for using A Ret Gel:

A thin layer of generic tretinoin cream is applied with the fingertips and massages it gently to the affected area where acne has appeared on the skin. Leave it to get air dry for 20 to 30 minutes. Wash your hands before and after applying the A Ret Gel. Avoid applying the cream near eyes, mouth or on the cuts and wounds as it can cause the irritation.

Storage condition for A-Ret Gel:

Store the cream at room temperature. Keep the drug away from sunlight. Keep the drug away from the reach of children and pets. Protect the drug from excessive heat, light and moisture.

Interactions of A Ret Gel:

A Ret Gel is a topical formulation which is used once in a day. A Ret Gel is used preferably at night.

Missed dose:

Use the cream regularly at the prescribed time. If you have forgotten to apply then use it soon as you get remembered. If it is getting the time for the next dose omit it and continue with your regular doses.


Though tretinoin cream is not predicted to cause any overdosing reactions or symptoms if occurs. If you have doubts that you have used a very high amount get an immediate medical attention.

A Ret Gel 0.025% does not pose any serious side effects when used in the approved manner. However some mild side effects are peeling effects, redness, burning or harsh feelings at the site of application, dry skin and skin sensitivity increased to UV light. Some intense or serious side effects are crust formation or scaling of the skin at the site of application, inflammations and pimples, blisters, rashes, pain in the chest, etc.

Some precautions that should be taken while using A Ret Gel (TRETINOIN) are-

  • If you are allergic to the tretinoin then take proper precautions.
  • Do not apply lotions or cosmetics simultaneously with A Ret gel.
  • Avoid getting exposure to the sun unnecessarily or UV lights as it may increase the sensitivity of the skin. Use sunscreen lotion and the clothes to cover the face and hands if it is necessary to go out in the sunlight.
  • Do not use this gel during pregnancy as it may get absorbed through the skin and cause harm to the foetus.
