Combigan is used for the treatment of glaucoma or ocular hypertension (high pressure inside the eye). This medicine has the blend of two active ingredients called brimonidine tartrate and timolol maleate. Both of these medicines help to reduce raised pressure within the eye. Combigan is an ophthalmic solution or eye drops. Brimonidine is related with the class of medications called alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonists. Timolol is an effective medicine from the set of medications called beta-adrenergic receptor blockers (also known as "beta-blockers"). This eye drop helps to reduce the quantity of liquid formed in the eyeball and raise the drainage of fluid from the eyeball.
