keppra or Levetiracetam is an anticonvulsant medicine to be used in mixture with additional medications for the treatment of seizure disorders (epilepsy). It is helpful to reduce the number of seizures in adults and children. It is also useful for controlling partial seizures in adults. It is generally used alone or with additional antiepileptic medicines to treat seizures that affect the entire brain (generalized) in adults.
